More Info
Laurence R. Bowers is a Tennessee native, and is currently a forward for the Mizzou Tigers basketball team. Laurence Bowers denied multiple scholarships offered to him, because of the relationship he had developed with Head Coach Anderson and the assistant coach.

Before joining the Mizzou basketball squad, Bowers helped lead his St. Georges' Independent School to a 25-3 record and to the Tennessee Division II State semifinals as a senior. Bowers was also a finalist for the Tennessee's Mr. Basketball Award and was a McDonald's All-America game nominee. As a top defensive player in the state of Tennessee, Missouri highly anticipated the arrival of Laurence Bowers onto their Tigers basketball team.

During his first year with the Missouri Tigers basketball team, Laurence Bowers showed just how outstanding his abilities were. Bowers played in 31 games that season, ranking among team-leaders in dunks. Bowers even made an alley-op flush against Coppin State that made the #1 Play of the Day on ESPN SportCenter's Top 10.

With no end in sight to his college basketball career, Laurence Bowers is pumped to show what he is really capable of this season. Don’t miss out on a Missouri Tigers basketball game, so buy your Mizzou Tigers basketball tickets today.
